BEAUTY || CHANEL LIPSTICK ||

I am back from my language course in Dublin and had a great time! I think my English has improved by speaking it all day for a week and I have not really talked in my own language during the week. Of course, there was some time for shopping. I bought this beautiful Chanel lipstick, it is the colour rouge 99 in case you were wondering. The colour does not look exactly the same on the picture, because I suck at taking these product pictures haha. The lipstick came along with a little body cream and a little Chanel 5 parfume (which I gave to my mother). My mid-term vacation has started now and I will be traveling through the Netherlands and do some study for my test week and finish my school projects as far as possible. Sounds like a fun life, huh? ;)

Heya lovelies. I discovered I have so many outfit pictures I actually never posted. The funny thing is that I don't like all of them, but due to my statistics the outfits I doubted posting were the ones that had been watched the most. Just like this one, it is such a simple outfit. It was the first evening when we were Essouira, it was so cold compared to Marrakech and this was the only long trousers I had with me, haha. The outfit feels like an emergency outfit or whatevs. How was your weekend?

Whenever I am having a chill day I Always feel like wearing these jeans. Not that they are like sweatpants, but I really do hate wearing sweatpants with doing any activity besides sporting. It just makes me feel gross. Today I wore these destroyed boyfriend jeans from Zara which are even more destroyed than when I bought them, how ironic. On top, I wore this loose golden detailed top and a pair of sneakers to finish the chill look. I wrapped my untamed hair in a bun.

Lately I have been kind of addicted to endless scrolling through some home inspiration on tumblr and pinterest. Since I am still struggling to choose a new school after I graduated, I am thinking about studying interior design. It sounds so much fun to design a living room or make your own product like in product design. However, I don't have to precipitate for this. Getting sufficient marks on my test are the biggest struggle for now. I really do sound like a nerd right now, haha.

In other news, I finally bought a new laptop. Hence I've been posting some more lately. And.. in like three weeks I will be going on a bi-lingual trip with school to Ireland. I am honestly not that excited, because my English class is not my favorite class to be very true, it will be fun anyways. Already promised myself to go to the Topshop in Dublin since the tiny shop-in-shop Topshop in the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam really is too small for me and my Topshop obsession.

I enjoy blogging. A lot, I am busy with fashion all day. My sense of style might not actually be that perfect and I have had and I am still making a lot of fails (to myself, everyone has its own style so your own style can not fail). I just love to look at collections and runway shows, I can literally stare at an show for an hour and watch every little detail and memorize them. Fall is my favorite time of the year, I love fall colors and especially the pre-fall is perfect. You are able to wear whatever you want not depending your outfit on the weather. Bare legs? It's ok. Long jeans? Its ok. Although the time I spend my time in fashion does not really have influence on my blogging skills, because I am still a noob at posing for the camera and for some reason I know that will not change. It's not that I am scared, I am just awkward or maybe it's the photographer. This was the outfit I was wearing today, not really sure whether I like it or not. I am not a big fan of panther, but sometimes I feel like thinking out of the box. Like the wedges, I loooove each look with heels but because I might be a little too young to wear heels all day, every day. I feel like wearing wedges could be okay sometimes.

Hey guys! It's been  a while since my latest (outfit) post. I went away from home for some time, but now I am back. Not for long though, because the 21st I will be leaving for a trip to Marrakesh to do some photographing and relaxing. This week I got featured in the Blog Toppers 2014 quartet of Style Fruits. Style Fruits is a website I absolutely adore and has some great fashion inspiration content. My card says 100+ of bags owned which is quite funny, because I told them my parents have their own label that contains bags and I usually use their bags. So I was like aaa lot! New in: Docs and Asics

Wohoo! I got even more shoes. I have been wanting some awesome sneakers for a while and then I ran into these Asics Gel Lyte iii. Lately, I have been obsessed with sneakers and I did not have a pair of Asics yet. I got them for my birthday. The Dr.Martens look like my other pair of Dr.Martens but I got a new pair for my birthday. They are just plain black without laquer and you can simple wear them with anything. What do you think of my new shoes?

Gemeente Museum: Chanel

Yesterday I visited the Chanel exhibition in het Gemeente Museum Den Haag, the Netherlands. I really liked the information given on the boards. How the dresses and suits were presentated kind of dissapointed me. It was really basic, but the "Little black dress" room (shown on the picture) was amazing. I really felt like touching the real Chanel dresses and just take them off the manican and wear them, but no. The rest of the Gemeente Museum was nice as well. I saw a lot of work of Piet Mondriaan and Rietveld. I would definitely recommand to take a look at this museum.

Street Style Rotterdam: Lisa

A street style picture. This is something I normally wouldn't do, because I am scared people will refuse me. I did street style once in Amsterdam. Yeah, I did meet some great people but not everyone said yes to me. Some were scared  (just like me haha) but there were also some people who reacted very enthiousiastic. That's why I wanted to continue shooting street style pictures. This is a picture I shot of a friend of mine. I really like her style and I'm so in love with her green hat from the Bijenkorf. Some day, one day. I will be the new, dutch, female Scott Schuman. For now, it's only in my dreams.

A picture I shot a while ago in Boijmans van Beumingen in Rotterdam. It's one of my favorite musea nearby. I'm not sure who's the artist of this but I reall felt like sharing this picture.

It is almost new year and I am making up some reachable new year revolutions. First of all I should stop wasting money, I want to stop watching Toddlers and Tiaras (why am I actually addicted to this pathetic bullshit haha), I want to do a sport and be more active, I would like to reach something with photography or at least be able to practice some more. I wanna visit places in the Netherlands I haven't visited before and discover more art. I'd like to dress myself rarer than I already do, because sometimes I don't have the courage to wear an outfit I like. I need to concentrate myself more at school and stop thinking about other stuff in class. Wow, so many things that need to go better in 2014.

I look so tired and it is so windy outside. Lately I have been really obsessed with pencil skirts, they are so elegant and you can make it sporty, posh, casual etc. I wore mine from Zara with my New Balance sneakers to make it more casual and returned the red from my shoes in my scarf. I really like tartan.

It's almost Christmas and I am so excited. Me and my dad decorated the christmas tree today and make some cupcakes in christmas colours (red and green). I definitely have the christmas feeling already! Now we only need some snow in the Netherlands and go iceskating. First finish the last two weeks of school before the christmas break. My whole vacation is already fully planned and I will do each thing with a lot of fun. More coming up! Love Zoë

Heeere it is! My new short hair. I donated the hair I chopped off and I am happy I did it. It was kind of dead anyways and now it's healthy and different again. I really needed something else with my hair. I am letting it grow again though, because I prefer long hair over short hair. It was nice to try anyways. And yep, an outfit post because it feels it has been ages. I am wearing a patterned suit from H&M. I bought it last year but barely wore it together. The cute top I am wearing under it is from Mango. I bought it a few months ago and have been wearing it a lot lately.

 Yes, yes. It's true, I am back. I have been away for away due to the stress of school and lack of time I had left for spending time on my blog. Therefore, everytime there was time left there was no sun to make outfit pictures. Why does it have to be dark so early? why?

Anyways, here's a little inspiring post of one of my favorite photographers at the moment: Frank Horvat. Frank Horvat is one of it's oldest fashion photographers and still today, I enjoy watching photographs of him. I recently bought a book that is called 'The Photography of Frank Horvat". It's filled with many of his advertorials, magazine covers and photography made in well-known cities like New York, London and Paris. You will see how fashion has developed and became something not only for rich people, but for everyone.

What have I been doing these days? Mostly school, school and school. In other news, a few weeks ago I told you guys I felt like chopping my hair off and I actually did it! It is just above shoulder length. I will show you this weekend. :)

Well, uhmm whaaat. Yeah, I decided to do my posts a little different from other blogs because I think "Style Papillon" is way too mainstream. So, trying out some new things. New layout, maybe hairstyle, but for now a collage with some photography. (I am not showing any emotions but this is the only picture that turned out okay...) I am wearing a Zara white blouse with a Maison Scotch jacket from my dad and some jeans. The background picture is a picture I took today at the beach. It was very windy, but I liked it. I went to take more pictures that might follow in a different, upcoming post and ate sushi today. I love sushi so much. I hope you all had a great day as well. Love Zoë

Inspiration: Bob hairstyles

I really want a new haircut. Actually, I need a new haircut. Lately I have been really into pinterest and found some nice bob hairstyle inspiration and I am considering to cut my hair a little above shoulder height. I am kind of scared to do it, because I do not want my hair to be very curly and fizzy. Therefore, hairdressers never listen and I don't want to come back with a lot of layers in my hair.

Also, I changed my layout a bit. I removed the sidebar and made the size of the pictures bigger. I am still changing some little details, just have to figure out how to do it. I hope you all like it, and I know it is hard to follow me on Bloglovin or any other website with this new layout. Hence I added a link to my social media websites on the top of my blog.

Weekly Inspiration

Here is some weekly inspiration again. I am getting addicted to Pinterest, the website is so much easier to use than Tumblr and I like how you can see what other people pinned if you vieuw a picture. So, yeah I haven't posted for a while. I kind of ran out of inspiration, or actually time mostly. I have been pretty busy but I will blog some more from now on.

Is it weird to already stress about my future eventhough I am only 15? I really want to leave the city I am currently living in and move to the big city and travel across the world. I prefer London or New York. But yeah, still two years school left and I am totally not enjoying it. The past few weeks I have made a lot of designs and am almost done with the sketches of my third collection. It would be my biggest dream to make all of my designs and show them in a real fashionshow. But, yeah strong fabrics are quite expensive and I am not good enough to make those designs before I will mess up my fabrics (Which I don't even have yet). I also have been writing a lot and made quite a few clutches which I want to sell sometime. I don't know, the pattern is kind of a morrocain print. That is not really my style, but I have to admit it does not look bad at all for someone who loves Bohemian. I was thinking of the same type, but made from white leather or something close to it. Ugh, I have so many dreams in mind, so many things I want to do but I am stuck in secondary school which is so incredibly hard.

October Inspiration

Here is some nice, simple and minimalistic inspiration for you. The last picture motivated me to draw some more, but I have been so inspirationless these days and so not productive. I really should do something like go sporting and make something, but yeah when and how. Already looking forward for the upcoming schoolbreak! This weekend I will not be doing anything special, just gonna take some picures and if they will turn out alright I might post them on here and I will be practicing my skateboard skills which I honesly do not have at all but might develop them, I hope.
