MBFWA || DAY THREE || VIBRANT PAKISTAN

(All pictures taken by me, except the last collage with pictures from www.fashionweek.nl)

On Saturday the 12th of July, Rosalyn and I visited the show of Vibrant Pakistan. I was really excited, because before I went to the show I did some research on what I could expect and I found/expected a lot of color. Since most shows did not have bright colors in it (from what I had seen). I was really looking forward to it!

Vibrant Pakistan, for those who did not know, is not only one designer. The show is organized by the president of Spirits Trust Foundation Kevin Eric. They showcases about the positivity of Pakistan and express their style and energy. The five designers each have a total different style and theme of their collection, which I really like because it shows the amount of different types of fashion which all oddly enough immediately express the middle east. It is impossible to get bored whilst the show, it is unexpected, surprising and fun! Vibrant Pakistan made their introduction of the Pakistani fashion industry.

My favorite designer was Rang Ja. Her designs are described as flirty, fun and trendy chique. Her designs included bright pink, yellow and green. A lot of little details and funky prints. I fell for the details and the accessory (big.. Big.. BIg... BIG) necklaces, bracelets and earrings!

The menswear collection of Bareeze man was totally different from Rang Ja. Rang Ja is really feminine. Bareeze man designed for rich, posh and modern men who would like to look simple, chic and casual. I liked the white suits and the shiny casque's the models carried with them. It reminded me of posh millionaire sitting next to their yacht and tanning, haha.

Other designers were Shahnameh, who had a broad menswear collection with a cultural history that developed to great modern collection with old elements and tailor craft. Laisure club, a powerful and influencal Pakistan fashion retailer with an eye for premium fashion for young and old. And Kayserie with a strong quality, a broad choice of fabrics. From cotton to silk and a big creative mind.

Everything summarized. I really enjoyed the show and am really happy with my invitation. I am excited to see more of the Pakistan fashion, it brought something exotic to Amsterdam Fashion Week and caused some positive variation. I loved the bright colors and the trendy chic menswear collection. Keep going!
