On the Sunday evening of Amsterdam Fashion Week, we closed the night with Tony Cohen. Tony Cohen is a Dutch designer born in Amsterdam. He is filled with creativity and the talent of fashion designing. His designs are elegant, feminine and stunning. In 2005 Tony Cohen launched his couture label called TONYCOHEN. His career went quickly, he already showed his collections in Bryant Park at New York Fashion Week, became an international succes and launched a 'cheaper' label called 2LOVE by TONYCOHEN. Last Sunday he launched the first designs of TONY COHEN MAN and it was a succes! Read further for more about the show...

How would I describe the Spring/Summer collection 2015 of Tony Cohen? One word. Elegant. No matter if the model wore trousers, a long dress of skirt or something tight. The clothing stayed elegant. The clothing were wearing the models instead of the models wearing them. (Though, the models were gorgeous!!). He used simple colors like grey, white, black and dark blue. I loved the idea of the mysterious hat in combination with the maxi skirts. The clothes were loosely and minimalistic, also chic and effortless. I think Tony Cohen had the best clothing of the week (for females). I think I should be saving many for those shoes on the third picture, aren't they perfect? The collection included posh fabrics like indulgent silk and polished leather.

Tony used some bright colors as well! Well.. White is not a color, but less darkness brought to the collection would not hurt. This was also very minimalistic. The first two blouses have a kind of pearl-ish shiny effect. The trousers prove that trousers are not just for men, but sometimes can be more elegant than a skirt or dress. Also, Tony Cohen proved that you don't necessarily have to show skin to look sexy, but covering can be even sexier.. ;-) Yet again, perfect shoes! The more I see them, the more I want them.

So here it is! The first TONY COHEN MAN collection. The collection really is for fashionable men, I loved the sharply cut jackets. Especially the one on the first picture can be worn casually or trendy chic. Tough... meets plushy! I am excited to see more of the men's collection, because you all know I love going through men collections so this was a great addition to the show.

Everything summarized. Why do you need a spectacular show with special effects, actors, cars or whatever you come up with. Tony Cohen proved that keeping it simple, could even attract more attention than all the hodgepodge. I have to be honest, the collection of Tony Cohen had the best clothing and it made my view on the designer much better than before! Covering is sexy, trousers are sexy and this collection is simply amazing. Well done!
