Hello peeps! Lately I have been really into flower headbands. I got this little one from the H&M children's section and have really been wearing it a lot. Flowers just cheer up your outfit in so many ways. I was scrolling on my Tumblr dashboard and saw so many Festival Street style with flower crowns and when I went shopping I have been looking for it. I finally found the perfect one with pink and white flowers and they costed like FREAKING 25 euros for only a hair accesoiry. I thought to myself, I can make this myself. So I went to the Action, a really cheap Dutch shop and saw these beautfiul fake flowers. They were exactly the same as the one from River Island and went exploring and made them myself. I try many things, but this one was very simple to do. So here is my tutorial on how to make a flower crown.
Needs: All you need for this DIY project is some "binnendraad" also called green wire and some fake flowers. I got the fake flowers at the Action for only 0.45 euros per one and the wire from a gardenshop. You also need some scissors, but I forgot to put them on picture.
Step 1: Step one is very simple. You basically have to take a piece of wire and fit it around your head. Try to make it a little bigger and wrap another piece of wire around it to make it more steady.
Step three: Cut the leaves off the flower and wrap the steel of the flower around the wire. Let the flower stand straight up and put some new wire around the flower to make it more steady if you want.
Step 4: Continue with twisting the wire around the steel of the flowers.
Step 5: This is the final result! You can choose to pull some fabric around the wire to make it look better, I bascially only did this for the sharp points.
Thankyou so much for visiting my DIY! I hope you guys learned something from it. Stay tuned for my outfit with this Flower crown!
