2014 Recap

Hello lovelies! I already wish you guys a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! Last year I did not do a recap post on my blogging year since it was my first year on this blog so there was not much to recap, but this year will be different. I am going to go through my year very quickly and will share my new years revolutions with you guys! Also I felt like sharing some Christmas inspiration pictures to make everyone even more excited for this joyful time of the year. I am such a typical white girl when it comes to Christmas. Think of the urge to drink Starbucks all day, listening to Christmas songs, watching netflix in ugly Christmas sweaters or onesies while watching the snow. Willing to go on a lovely iceskating date with my non-existent boyfriend and bake gingerbread cookies together. Well, wakey wakey Zoë! No snow this year, no boyfriend either but it will be great anyways. :)

My 2014 started great, because in January I got my first magazine feature. I was featured in the Fashionista Blogazine in the Upcoming Dutch Bloggers Top 15. It was kind of funny since it was literally my first year on Style Papillon and there was a huge age gap between me and the others that got featured.

In the same month I was invited for some shows at Amsterdam Fashion Week. I was not able to atttend all of them, because I really had to go to school haha. My favorite (all time favorite) show was Dennis Diem. From that moment I knew I wanted to keep going in fashion.

And I started off my new year with the New Years Ball. This is actually the only picture I am on from that night and I have no idea why...

In February I stopped blogging for a while, because my camera broke booohooo!! And I had to buy a new one and my lenses did not work.

In February I finally turned sixteen years old and it still feels so grown up and stuff haha. In March I was studying on and on for mid terms.

In April I just went to Toscane for a week to shop and visit interesting places. I did also visit Pisa and some little towns out and about.

In May I was featured in the Blog Toppers Quartet with some of my favorite bloggers which felt so cool. Also the card is saying I have 100+ bags, but that is not exactly true haha. My parents have their own fashion brand that are selling bags, clutches, shoes and more stuff so in my interview I told them I practically own all my parents'bags as well. It was quite a good year for my parents too ;)

In June I met so many new people as I attended all shows of Amsterdam Fashion Week, and I did not expect I would be invited for so many. It was great meeting you guys for the ones who won tickets via my blog and social media channels. Can not wait for next fashion week, because it is such an inspirational place with other people who like fashion as much as I do.

In the summer vacation I went to North Africa for the first time ever and it was such a lovely place.

In the fall I shot the habibah beanies campaign and this is how it turned out. Cool, isn't it? The picture is placed on such a cute box (which makes quite a good Christmas present!)

I also went to Ireland that month for a language course, but I did not bring my camera to take pictures.

And I ended this beautiful year with some outfit posts! 2014 was definitely a good year, so I am even more excited for 2015. I set some goals for myself for next year which is also blog some more, at least 5 times a week if I can. I was not really that active this year or at least could have been more so I really want it to be different. Also my grades will go up upcoming year and I really need to gain some muscles and become fit since I can not even pull  a plugger from a power point, how bad!

I hope you all had such a lovely year like I had and an amazing Christmas ofcourse. How are you guys spending your Christmas?

Lots of love from moi, Zoë xx
